We’re back to school after a week of summer vacation! As we start this new week, we noticed that the weeds around the school have been growing, so we took the time to cut and clear them. This also gave us a great chance to learn about plants as we prepare to enter Unit 2: Sharing the Planet.
1週間の夏休みを終え、学校に戻ってきました！新しい週が始まり、学校の周りの雑草が伸びていることに気がつきました。また、ユニット2「地球の共有」に向けて、植物について学ぶ良い機会にもなりました。
Not only did we clean up the weeds, but we also got creative and made a craft using the grass we found around the school. It was a fun way to use the natural resources around us. What do you think she’s making?

This week at school, we also learned how to make cotton candy, thanks to another campus that lent us their cotton candy machine!
今週の学校では、綿菓子機を貸してくれた他のキャンパスのおかげで、綿菓子の作り方も学びました！
